Registration opens on May 15, 2025. Early registration is recommended as spaces are limited to 80 participants. Teams of 3-5 are recommended, but individual registrations are also welcome - we’ll help match you with a team.
Teams benefit from a mix of technical and non-technical backgrounds. While programming experience is valuable, expertise in ethics, design, policy, and user experience are equally important for creating well-rounded solutions.
While you’re welcome to come with ideas, we’ll provide detailed challenge briefs and mentors will help teams refine their concepts during the initial phase of the hackathon.
Participants will have access to computing resources, datasets, AI ethics frameworks, and mentorship from experts in both AI technology and ethics.
Yes, there is a nominal registration fee (reduced rate for students). This covers all meals, resources, and materials during the event.
This hackathon is primarily designed as an in-person event to facilitate collaboration and meaningful discussions. However, limited remote participation options may be available - please contact us for details.
